The Opportunity for Funds
The ministries approaching your fund have a calling they want to bring to life. Alongside funding, they may need practical help to shape and launch the work.
GCM works alongside their leaders from early discernment through a first ministry launch or new initiative, building the people, practices, and systems needed to accompany their communities well.
What we can do for your ministries
Bring us a ministry or an emerging project. We help turn its calling into something ready to launch, drawing on the work we’ve done alongside ministry leaders.
Understand the people, the calling, and the opportunity.
Shape the accompaniment pathway and the roles around it.
Create the practical resources and systems the ministry needs.
Prepare the team and try the first version in its community.
Listen, adapt, and decide the next step with the ministry.

Internal incubation
Guide Development is an internal GCM prototype, currently being developed without a specific ministry partner. We’re exploring how to form people who can walk well with others through online formation, guided conversation, and continuing coaching.
Explore the prototypeA strategic partnership
Connect a fund’s mission with a ministry’s readiness—and the capacity to move forward.
You know a ministry with a promising opportunity. We work with its leaders to discern the accompaniment need and shape the right support.
We identify a ministry ready to build its accompaniment capacity. We bring that opportunity to a partner fund, with the context and a proposed path forward.
Shared learning
Agree meaningful milestones at the start, then review what the ministry is putting into practice and what its people are experiencing.
Who is prepared to accompany others, and where do they need more support?
What practices, resources, and structures can the ministry now use?
What have we learned, and what should continue, change, or grow?
We can work with a new Catholic ministry or a new initiative within an existing ministry. The starting point is a committed leader, a clear community to serve, and a readiness to develop its accompaniment capacity.
We scope that together: the ministry’s needs, GCM’s fulfillment work, the resources required, and the learning milestones. A first partnership can begin with one ministry pilot.
Yes. Start with your fund’s mission and priorities. Our Partnerships Director can explore the fit, the kinds of ministries you want to serve, and how we could work together.
